Rules

The rules for this AFL crowd tipping competition is as follows:

Everyone starts on 1,000,000 points.
One point is deducted for every one person the user's estimate is out by.

Bonus points are awarded for each game according to how close the user's crowd estimate was to the actual value. Extra bonus points are also awarded at the end of each round depending on the difference of the totalled predicted crowd for that round, to the totalled actual crowd. The conditions for these bonus points are outlined below:

Bonus Points

100-1000 + 2% of actual crowd rewarded in points as bonus
11-100 + 20% of actual crowd rewarded in points as bonus
1-10 + 200% of actual crowd rewarded in points as bonus
Correct guess + 2000% of actual crowd rewarded in points as bonus

Failure to enter a tip for a game results in a deduction of 20% of the stadium capacity of which that certain game is being played at, in points.

If the user happens to go bankrupt (their score hits zero), they are disqualified.

NEW! Groups
Users can now allocate themselves to a group in which their score will be compared to all the other members in the group. They can also post comments to the rest of the group.
